HR/Payroll Toolkit Overview |
|
|
|
|
The HR/Payroll Reporting Toolkit is a complete Human Resources reporting solution which integrates directly with the Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) and Lawson Human Resources and Payroll Management systems.
Many people spend days creating a single report on their Lawson Human Resources System. Our solution significantly reduces the time it takes to build reports, run queries, and analyze your Human Resources and Payroll data. This toolkit creates a star schema data mart, a couple of Microsoft Analysis Services Cubes, and a number of de-normalized relational tables which are optimized for easy report creation from your Lawson Human Resources data.
Measures:
- Headcount
- FTE Counts
- Turnover (by period and/or rolling averages)
- Compensation
- Additional 10 Custom Measures based on implementation interview. Examples include Sick Days, R&D Cost as a Percent of Total, Vacation Days, Absence Rates, Compa Ratio, and Penetration Rate. Basically, if you track it in your Lawson System we can add it.
Reporting and Analysis Dimensions:
- Performance Scores
- Age
- Gender
- Ethnicity
- Position
- Organization
- Action Reason Codes
- Tenure
- Marital Status
- Supervisor Structure
- Employee Listing
- Job Codes/Classes
- Employee Status
- GL Account Codes (if using Lawson GL)
- GL Attributes (if using Lawson GL)
- Able/Disabled
Because the data is output into industry standard formats, the data maybe output using a variety of tools, including but not limited to:
-
Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI)
-
Microsoft Excel
-
Microsoft Reporting Services
-
Crystal Reports
-
Microsoft Word and the other Office Component
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The system works with Lawson HR/PR 8.x and 9.x systems. The reporting and solution requires a Microsoft SQL Server system with ODBC/OLEDB connectivity to the source Lawson tables. The system will require the ability to create a database on the SQL Server environment and take full ownership of that database including the ability to create, drop, and alter tables on that database.
Optionally, if Microsoft Analysis Services Cubes are desired the requirements of the reporting solution must be met. In addition, Microsoft Analysis Services and SQL Server Integration Services must be installed and a Local OLAP Administrator user must be available to create Analysis Databases and Cubes.
